The service

Koru is a family safety app provided by PEAK SALES DIJITAL PAZARLAMA SATIS VE DIS TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI. Koru is not an emergency service; SOS calls only the family and emergency contacts. Koru is not a surveillance tool: it shows no map, reads no messages, asks the child first and the child sees what is reported. Using the app for covert monitoring violates these terms and leads to account closure.

Accounts and roles

Parent accounts are for adults 18 and over; the parent declares to be the child's legal guardian and gives consent for the child's account. Monitoring an adult (elder) requires that person's own consent; they enter the invite code themselves. You are responsible for keeping your device and any linked account secure. You can delete your account at any time.

Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. The 7-day free trial converts to a paid period unless cancelled before it ends. The free version includes 1 ward, the status card, ask-first and SOS.

Manage or cancel in your store account's subscription settings; cancelling keeps access until the end of the current period. Refunds follow the store's rules. Use 'Restore purchases' on a new device.

Live voice (walking companion, elder call) has a daily fair-use threshold; when exceeded, silent walks and written answers continue for the rest of the day.

Limits

Koru is a detection system and can be wrong: it may miss a deviation or raise a false alarm. 'Everything is normal' is not a guarantee; it is a summary of what the phone saw at that moment. If the phone is off, permissions are off or it is offline, Koru cannot know. You remain responsible for your child's safety; in an emergency call your local emergency number.

Acceptable use

Monitoring an adult without consent, installing on someone else's device covertly, unlawful or abusive use, abusing the system or reverse-engineering it are prohibited.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will notify you in the app of material changes. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

Governing law

The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply, without limiting the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence. Contact: [email protected].
